Annual Christian Education Fundraising Day

The 3rd Sunday in May (May 16, 2021)

Please mark your calendars

“Reimagining Discipleship through Christian Education”

Acts 18:18-28

Dr. Gloria Aghogah and the members of our General Christian Education Department would like to invite you to participate on this Annual Education Day with your prayers and financial support for our Christian Education Department. Your donation will help us to glorify God, disciple our congregants and pursue excellence in Christian Education, with the Bible as our foundation and Jesus Christ as our focus.

Your donation will also help to prepare the next generation of leaders to impact our communities and the world for Christ. Our calling is to be a light that shines in the darkness; help us to have a relevant, premier education department increasingly recognized as a model and benchmark in the 21st century. We are requesting one-hundred-dollar gifts from each church to the General Education Department to capacitate our ministry goals.

The role of Christian Education in local parishes undoubtedly, is to teach the scriptures, and to disciple believers with moral and ethical principles. Scripture precedents an educational model where children, men, and women spiritual mandates are to be divinely appointed.

Please make your checks payable to St. John UHC, and write “General Education Department” on your envelope. If you would like more information, please see Elder Tonya Utley.

We thank you in advance for all your support and prayers.

Elder Tonya Utley
